CFCC Small Business Center to Offer Free Tax Planning Workshops in Spanish to Support Growing Hispanic Community
WILMINGTON, NC – The Cape Fear Community College Small Business Center, in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Revenue, will offer two no-cost Sales and Use Tax webinars in Spanish on March 15 from 4 PM to 6 PM and April 5 from 1 PM to 3 PM.
The Sales and Use Tax webinars will help business owners better understand their sales and use tax obligations, including covering sales and use tax basics, registering for an account, and learning about the most common types of sales and use taxes collected. In addition, participants will receive hands-on help preparing sales and use tax returns. Sales and use tax law changes regarding capital improvements and repair, maintenance, and installation services will not be addressed in any depth during this webinar.
