Biography

Dave joined the CFCC Career Coach team in April of 2023 after working in higher ed as an English Lecturer and Academic Advisor. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts and has taught English and Composition courses at UMass, Jefferson University, Moore College of Art & Design, and UNCW. Dave approaches his work in education with a focus on equity and accessibility, and especially enjoys the privilege of working with first generation college students. When not at work, Dave spends his free time writing and spending time with his family. Prior to his work in higher education, Dave worked in the concert industry as a sound engineer for over 15 years.
