Biography

Lucinda McNamara holds a master’s degree in Television and Film from San Diego State University. Her bachelor’s degree is from Salisbury University. She has taught courses in Scriptwriting, History of Cinema, Documentary Production, War in Film (Special Topics), as well as Introduction to Film and Advanced Film. She is currently the Chair of the Humanities Department.

Ms. McNamara’s experience at the Production Center for Documentary and Drama, Theatrical Advertising Department at Twentieth Century Fox Film, and her regional Emmy award winning documentary work, has fueled her passion for film and the pursuit of teaching it to others. She co-hosts the annual Tournées Film Festival and co-founded CFCC’s Humanities Department International Film Festival.
