Biography
- Mackenzie joined the CFCC Counseling team in June of 2021. She greatly enjoys working with her students and acting in a support role for the college.
- Mackenzie holds her Master of Education in College Counseling and Student Development from NC State University. She has a passion for working in higher education and advocating for equitable access to mental health support services.
- Mackenzie works under Person-Centered Counseling theory which places a high value on the relationship between Counselor and client. She strongly believes that the client is the expert in her office. Mackenzie is eager to learn from the students she works with by allowing them to lead the conversation.
- Mackenzie pursues her passion for volleyball in her spare time by coaching a 15u girls competitive club team and playing in adult tournaments locally and nationally.
