Biography
Susan Holleman has been associated with CFCC since 2008, assuming a full-time role in 2011. Before her tenure at the college, she taught at public high schools in North Carolina, including Tarboro and Laney High School locally.
During her leisure time, Susan enjoys activities such as boating, paddleboarding, and playing disc golf. Susan and her husband share their home with a Blue Heeler/Jack Russell Rescue Dog named Benjamin Blue, known for his intelligence and his enthusiasm for riding on the bow of their boat, as well as his athleticism in catching frisbees mid-air. Benjamin Blue even has a penchant for watching television.
Susan’s roots trace back to Austin, TX, where she earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas, passionately cheering for the Longhorns with a resounding “Hook-em’-Horns!” She continued her academic journey by obtaining her master’s degree at East Carolina University, proudly supporting the Pirates with a spirited “Go Pirates!”
