Bill Baggett graduated from East Carolina University receiving a BS in Mathematics; he also received a MBA from Loyola University. He served as an owner/operator of the Blockade Runner Beach Resort at Wrightsville Beach for over 38 years. He is married to Dorothy Hungerford.

Mr. Baggett has generously given over $415,000 in scholarship support for students since 2009, particularly supporting students who are victims of domestic violence, homelessness, or who have been previously incarcerated.
