Ms. Jennifer CranfordVice Chair, Board of Directors, CFCC Foundation
Jennifer grew up in a small, rural town in North Carolina called Dobson. For those that know the Andy Griffith Show, Dobson sits just 15 minutes from the fictional town of Mayberry and Pilot Mountain. Snappy Lunch is still a favorite of hers.
After working in corporate America, Jennifer and her then-husband Draughon started a promotional marketing business in 2011 in Mebane, NC. The business primarily served businesses in the Triad and Triangle areas. Over the year, the business morphed into an online retailer. After selling their existing promotional marketing business in June 2012, they moved to Wilmington in August 2012 and began selling on various marketplaces.
Now employing around 45 people, Cranford owns two warehouse production facilities here in Wilmington. She owns several brands and sells on different marketplace platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, and Wayfair. The company is a Top 100 fashion seller on Amazon.com and is ranked as one of the Top 500 overall third-party sellers on Amazon.
In her spare time, Cranford enjoys traveling, golfing, and kiteboarding.
