Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is excited to announce that DrawFire has made a generous donation of food and hygiene products to Ray’s Tray, the CFCC food pantry. This significant contribution will impact CFCC’s ability to provide supplemental food relief to students facing food insecurity, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed academically.

The Sea Devil Food Pantry, operating under the principle that no student should face the added stress of hunger while pursuing their education, offers a variety of food items to CFCC students at no cost.

“The only thing students should worry about is getting good grades and not getting something to eat,” said Ronni Brantley, DrawFire Corporate Donation Program Director. “A community has no better assets than the contributions of an education resident. Our future is in the hands of the next generation, and our educational assistance will cultivate higher learning. DrawFire believes a company should be a good steward in the community where they operate.”

“We’re truly grateful to DrawFire for their significant contribution of food and personal hygiene products to our college’s pantry,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “This crucial support helps ensure students have access to the essential items they need, positively affecting their academic journey and well-being.”
