14th Annual Gift of Education Event Success!

CFCC’s 14th Annual Gift of Education event, held on May 16, 2019 at the Wilson Center, was uniquely moving and motivational. Over 430 guests came to hear the inspirational stories of CFCC Dental Hygiene student Kristen Wilkerson, CFCC College Transfer student James Jones, and CFCC graduate and Women’s Sea Devil Basketball National Semifinalist Champion Tracey Kemp.

In fact, we surprised both Kristen and James with scholarships for their final academic year at the event!

The Cape Fear Community College Foundation relies on this event to raise approximately 45% of its annual scholarship budget. A huge thank you to the many donors, volunteers, and staff who made this event possible!
