Scholarship FAQs
Just one! Our general scholarship application with auto match students with the scholarships they qualify for. We offer hundreds of scholarships across all of the programs in the college. (Health and Human Services Students have additional scholarship opportunities on the website that require additional applications.)
All students registered for 6 or more credit hours are eligible. We also recommend that you complete your FAFSA for any scholarship that requires demonstrated financial need.
The application opens on April 1st for both the general application and the summer application. The priority deadline for applicants is June 1st but awarding is done on a rolling basis.
The application deadline for summer is May 1st and December 20th for the general application. Awarding is ongoing through the close of the application.
Students should check their CFCC email regularly as that will be the preferred method of communication.
It is important to note that all scholarship recipients are required to submit a thank you letter to their scholarship donor within 14 calendar days of receiving their award. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the award.
