The course serves as a stepping stone for professionals seeking to advance their careers in healthcare access management, ensuring they meet the stringent standards set by NAHAM (National Association of Healthcare Access Management).
Eligibility
The course is designed to prepare the student to sit for the Certified Healthcare Access Manager exam proctored at CFCC. CHAM is under the guidance of NAHAM- National Association of Healthcare Access Management. All students should have a minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent plus 90 professional development contact hours earned within the last three years; or a four-year degree from an accredited institution in healthcare, business, or related field or two (2) years management experience in the healthcare/finance industry or CHAA certified. Students will need a signature of one (1) supervisor or course instructor/advisor and one (1) CHAM- certified individual (instructor). CFCC is accredited with NAHAM.
