Medical Assisting
Update for Fall 2023
The CFCC health science/nursing faculty and Student Services units rolled out new testing guidelines for health science and nursing applicants. Starting for fall 2023, the TEAS test (by ATI; versions 6 and 7 only) will be used in place of the PSB and must be completed successfully before filing an Intent to Apply.

CFCC’s Medical Assisting program affords students the opportunity to learn medical, clinical, and administrative skills while earning a diploma in medical assisting. Successful graduates can enter the workforce as multi-skilled health care professionals qualified to perform administrative, clinical, and laboratory procedures.
In July 2019, CFCC medical assisting students achieved a 100% pass rate on their national certification exam. ALL have already accepted jobs as medical assistants and will still be returning to complete the final two semesters of the program.
