    I would recommend joining SGA not only because it builds one's resume, but also because you learn new skills while fine-tuning the ones you already have, you get to help serve your fellow students, you are part of a support system, and of my favorite parts of SGA... you get free snacks!

  • Joining SGA was the best decision I made at CFCC...

    I was given the opportunity to work with some of the most passionate and dedicated students, faculty, and staff. You will be encouraged, challenged, and helped to grow into a stronger leader, student, and member of your community. I would encourage anyone to step outside their comfort zone to be involved and contribute, and you truly will get as much out of it as you put in.

  • Being part of CFCC’s Student Government Association (SGA) was an incredible experience...

    Serving as a senator for the 2022-2023 school year and vice president for 2023-2024 gave me opportunities to grow in ways I hadn’t expected. I got to connect with students from other schools, collaborate on meaningful projects, and understand how our leaders work to create a better campus environment for community college students. The role wasn’t just about leadership; it was about learning too. I gained skills in teamwork, communication, and decision-making that I know will benefit me in the future. Beyond the work, SGA was also a lot of fun! We had memorable outings, participated in exciting events, and truly bonded as a team. From planning events to seeing the direct impact of our efforts, every moment was rewarding. I’d encourage any student to get involved!

  • Joining the SGA changed my life in ways I did not expect. Not only did I improve my communication and leadership skills...
