Wilmington, NC (September 26, 2025) – Cape Fear Community College is proud to announce the appointment of a new member to the Board of Trustees, Mr. Teddy Davis. He was officially sworn in on Thursday, September 25, 2025, and brings valuable experience and insight to the college’s leadership. Mr. Davis will fulfill the remainder of former Trustee Mr. Bruce Moskowitz’s term.

Mr. Davis, a Wilmington native and 2001 graduate of New Hanover High School, went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His community leadership includes service with New Hanover County Cooperative Extension, the Airlie Gardens Foundation, and the Boy Scouts of America. Beyond his professional and civic commitments, Mr. Davis enjoys spending time on the water or at the baseball fields with his wife, Alyson, and their two sons, Tee and Randall.

“We are excited to welcome Ted to the CFCC Board of Trustees,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “As a Wilmington native, he has witnessed firsthand the tremendous growth of our community and the college.
