Winter Session

Get a head start on next semester’s course load! Take a short-term class at CFCC and earn credits toward your degree at your home institution.

Cape Fear Community College is offering a 4-week online winter session of transferable classes Nov. 17, 2025 through Dec. 12, 2025. The session will consist of Universal General Education Transfer Component (UGETC) courses, meaning they have been universally approved to transfer to most four-year colleges and universities in North Carolina.

  • Once on your My Progress page, type in the course you are looking for in the top right hand corner that says “Search for Courses.”
  • In the top left-hand corner, select “Fall 2025” as your filter and browse courses with winter start dates. Note: Winter session courses will contain an “X” in their section.
