CFCC Responsibilities
- Provide the related instruction
- Registering programs with the state
- Represent companies with ApprenticeshipNC
- Schedule interviews with potential apprentices and refer them to you
- Register apprentices in apprenticeship database
- Submit monthly and annual reports
- Assist in the apprentice follow-ups
- Administer funding (if applicable) to assist apprentices with expenses
- Publicly recognize employer partners for supporting the Cape Fear region’s economic engine
Employer Responsibilities
- Pays apprentice’s wages
- Provides training and mentorship
- Evaluates apprentice’s progress
- Provides a safe and productive work environment
