Technical Requirements

CFCC has a Mac computer lab, but students are strongly encouraged to have their own computers and software if this a career they’d like to pursue.

The following are minimum and preferred software/hardware requirements for this program:

Preferred Software Requirements

• Mac OS 10.6 or greater
• Windows 7 or Vista with Microsoft .Net 4.0
• Quicktime 7.6 or greater is needed for embedded video content
• PC Browser (The latest version of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome)
• Mac Browser (The latest version of Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome)

Preferred Hardware Specifications

• 2.0 GHz INTEL processor
• 1 GB of RAM
• Graphics card capable of 1024×768 resolution or larger
• High-speed internet access

Minimum Requirements

• Apple Mac OSX 10.5 or greater
• Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or higher with Microsoft .Net 3.5 SP1
• Browsers within the latest two versions

Minimum Hardware Specifications

• 1.0 GHz processor
• 512 MB of RAM
• Graphics card capable of 1024×768 screen resolution
• High-speed internet access is recommended
