The Academic Year and Summer Programs are rigorous and designed to encourage and prepare students for post-secondary education.

THE PROGRAM HAS TWO COMPONENTS, ACADEMIC YEAR AND SUMMER.

During the academic year, the program provides supplemental academic classes, tutoring, academic counseling, life skills classes, and cultural enrichment activities.

Weekly support and Saturday seminars are offered during the fall and spring semesters. Periodically, students and their families will have the opportunity to attend workshops.

The summer component focuses on personal development, academic skills and comprehensive test preparation for six weeks. Students will also have the opportunity to attend educational and cultural field trips to various colleges, universities, museums, theatrical performances, and athletic events.

The Upward Bound leadership team serves as coaches, role models, and mentors to our student scholars. They have established a close working relationship with community agencies, target high school principals, and personnel. Our team also works with parents.
