Accommodated Testing for Faculty
- Some students who are registered with Disability Support Services (DSS) require accommodated testing. On occasion, departments provide the testing accommodations. For example, if the instructor is able to provide testing in a separate setting, with extended time, that may be preferable.
- If testing accommodations cannot be provided by the department and the student requests to test with DSS, then the student must submit an accommodated test request.
- The instructor will automatically receive an email informing them of the request. Within the body of the email will be a link to a form that the instructor will fill out.
- The instructor must provide DSS with the test preferably 48 hours, but no later than 24 hours prior to the testing time.
Additional information can be found by accessing the Faculty/Staff Training Module and clicking the “Testing” tab.
