Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is committed to providing support to students with disabilities and works with all areas of the college to ensure that programs, facilities, and activities are accessible to all students.
Students who have a disability (i.e. physical, mental, learning, vision, or hearing) are encouraged to contact SAS to arrange a confidential discussion. Individuals wishing to schedule an appointment with a SAS staff member can use the appointment button below, call 910-362-7017 , or email sas@cfcc.edu. Drop-in appointments are accepted as staff is available.

Boost your confidence and learn how to connect with others in everyday situations. This workshop will help you start conversations, listen actively, and handle awkward moments with ease—skills that make social interactions feel natural and rewarding.

Join Counseling for this free, evidence-based program that teaches participants how to recognize warning signs of suicide, ask the right questions, and connect individuals to help. In just one to two hours, you’ll learn practical steps to intervene and save a life—similar to CPR, but for mental health crises. This training is designed for anyone in the community who wants to be prepared to help someone in need.
Join the Counseling Center to encourage others by performing small, unexpected acts of kindness to brighten someone else’s day. Check the RAK posters in the Union Station and McKeithan Center lobbies or the CFCC Counseling instagram @CFCC_Counseling for ideas and inspiration!

Learn proven techniques to approach exams with confidence and reduce stress. Topics include strategies for answering specific types of test questions, including multiple choice, short answer/essay, and true/false.
Come join the Creative Arts Club and other students to decorate paper t-shirts for awareness. These t-shirts will be showcased around each campus.
The purpose of the project is to increase awareness of the impact of violence and abuse, to honor a survivor’s strength to continue, and to provide another avenue for them to courageously break the silence that often surrounds their experience.
Turn organization into art! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design personalized bullet journal pages using markers and stickers to track events, set goals, and stay motivated—all while expressing your creativity.

The Counseling Center asks students, staff and faculty to make a social statement by wearing jeans on April 29th as a visible means of protest against the misconceptions that surround sexual violence. CFCC Faculty and Staff are invited to wear jeans without visible tears or distress.
