Accommodated Testing for Faculty
- Some students registered with Student Accessibility Services (SAS) require accommodated testing. On occasion, departments provide the testing accommodations. For example, if the instructor can provide testing in a separate setting, with extended time, that may be preferable.
- If the department cannot provide testing accommodations and the student requests to test with SAS, then the student must submit an accommodated test request.
- The instructor will automatically receive an email informing them of the request. Within the body of the email will be a link to a form that the instructor will fill out.
- The instructor must provide SAS with the test preferably 48 hours, but no later than 24 hours before the testing time.
- Please note that SAS can only provide testing accommodations during normal college operating hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, which may vary during the summer semester or holidays).
